Yay! Good for your mum for helpng you out. It looks really fabulous on you - I hope you are pleased with it.
It looks so nice with the crochet trim! I hope it cools down soon so you can wear it. If not, you might have to take a trip up north. *coughStitchescough* :)

I'm most excited about the fact that the crochet trim helps the sweater stay up on my shoulders now!
Not that the off the shoulder look is bad or anything, but it was annoying trying to keep things in place so my shoulders wouldn't get chilly. : )
The crochet trim is lovely! It finishes off the sweater rather nicely, too. And I can empathise with the off-the-shoulder dilemma. It's nice as a look, but ON the shoulders is much more practical. :) You and your mum can be very proud of this piece!
